Terms of Service
These terms are intended to govern access to IntoWorlds, creator profiles, interactive releases, community features, purchases and other platform services.
Your account
You are responsible for accurate account information, reasonable account security and activity performed through your credentials. Final age requirements and age-assurance rules will be specified before launch.
Your work
Creators retain ownership of their original work. By uploading content, a creator would grant IntoWorlds the limited permissions reasonably required to host, process, reproduce, display, stream, distribute and promote that content through the service, subject to the final creator agreement and selected distribution settings.
Your promises
You must have the rights and permissions required for anything you upload, sell or license. You must not upload unlawful content, infringe intellectual property rights, impersonate others, manipulate platform systems, or use IntoWorlds to threaten, exploit or harass people.
Purchases and digital content
Prices, licence scope, payment terms, cancellation information and any loss of cancellation rights for immediately supplied digital content must be presented clearly at checkout. Statutory consumer rights cannot be contracted away.
Memberships and recurring payments
Paid Creator memberships are monthly recurring subscriptions. Before live launch, checkout and account billing must clearly show the price, billing frequency, renewal terms, verified discount where applicable, cancellation route, effect of cancellation on credits/storage, and any applicable consumer cancellation rights. Student and Blue Light / NHS discounts apply only after verified eligibility under the current programme rules.
Moderation and enforcement
IntoWorlds may restrict visibility, remove content, suspend features or accounts, preserve evidence, and respond to lawful requests where necessary to enforce platform rules or comply with law. Final notice, appeal and complaint processes will be documented before launch.
Liability
The final terms will include fair, transparent limitations appropriate to the service and will not attempt to exclude liabilities or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Privacy Notice
IntoWorlds is designed to explain what personal information is collected, why it is used, who it is shared with, how long it is retained and what choices and rights users have.
Likely data categories
Account/contact details, creator-profile information, uploads and metadata, interactions such as likes/follows/comments, purchase/licensing records, support reports, device/security information and user-selected preferences.
Purposes
Operating accounts and profiles; delivering and personalising the service; processing transactions; protecting users and the platform; moderation; analytics where permitted; communicating service information; and complying with legal obligations.
Controls
The production service should provide meaningful privacy controls, access/correction/deletion routes where applicable, and a contact route for privacy requests. Any use of personal data requires an appropriate lawful basis and transparent notice.
International services
If IntoWorlds operates globally, cross-border data transfers, processors, hosting locations and transfer safeguards will need to be documented in the production privacy notice.
Cookies & device storage
Strictly necessary storage may be used for core security, sessions and user-requested functionality. Non-essential analytics, advertising or similar storage/access technologies should remain off until the user makes a valid choice where consent is required.
Your choices
Users should be able to accept, reject or manage non-essential purposes and later withdraw or change those choices. Optional analytics and advertising remain off unless enabled with the user’s consent.
Community Guidelines
IntoWorlds is intended for creative expression and collaboration, not abuse. Content or behaviour involving credible threats, targeted harassment, sexual exploitation, promotion or facilitation of serious illegal activity, fraudulent impersonation, malicious manipulation, or infringement of others' rights may be restricted or removed.
Reporting
The production platform should provide visible reporting routes for content and accounts, internal moderation workflows, records of decisions where appropriate, and complaint/appeal mechanisms required by the final service design and applicable law.
Creator safety
Creators should have tools for blocking, comment controls, visibility settings, reporting and protection from unwanted interaction.
Online Safety — launch framework
IntoWorlds includes user-to-user features such as public comments. Before public launch, the service must complete the applicable UK Online Safety Act scope checks and documented risk assessments, and implement proportionate systems for moderation, reporting, complaints and removal of illegal content.
Required operational work
Designate an accountable safety owner; maintain an illegal-content risk assessment and records; provide easy reporting and complaints routes; document enforcement in the Terms; maintain moderation/escalation procedures; and complete a children’s-access assessment. If children are likely to access the service, the relevant child-safety duties and privacy-by-design requirements must be implemented.
Reporting
Users must be able to report comments, profiles and other user-generated content. Reports require a real moderation queue and complaint/appeal handling behind the interface — a button alone is not sufficient.
Launch status
IntoWorlds applies its published safety, privacy and community rules across the platform.
Copyright & creator rights
Creators should upload only work they own or are authorised to use. Music releases may involve composition, recording, artwork, sample, performer and other rights that need to be cleared separately.
Rights notices
IntoWorlds should maintain a process for rights holders to report alleged infringement and for affected creators to respond. Repeat or serious infringement may lead to restrictions consistent with the final terms and applicable law.
Licensing marketplace
Where beats, photography, music or other work is offered under a licence, the exact rights granted — such as personal, commercial, exclusive, non-exclusive, territory, duration and usage limits — should be made clear before purchase.
